• Oct 29, 2016  I have installed a Logitech M510 wireless mouse driver, which works fine. However, every time I start my PC in the morning, Win 10 installs an additional HID compliant driver, which is totally redundant. How can I verify which driver is used and how can I prevent that unneeded driver.
• Aug 14, 2015  windows 10 reinstall mouse, keyboard not working. I have tried to unplug the mouse and keyboard and plug them in when windows 10 scenic screen comes up to see if the drivers load, the mouse flashes then the light goes out, it does this with any mouse i put in. It might work until I download drivers?

Unplug your mouse and keyboard while the system is still running and see if it helps. Itmight trigger the mouse and keyboard drives.

You can contact your manufacturer and ask for the product key, Therefore can easily roll back to your previous operating system.

Trying going to the safe mode and see if the issue persists:

To go to Safe mode follow the steps below:
a. Click on Windows key, and in the Power Options click on Restart while pressing the shift key.
b. A blue screen will appear with a few options.
Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
c. Your system will automatically restart, press 4 or F4 key to go to the Safe Mode.
If you do not face the same issue in the safe mode, try doing a clean boot

However, you may receive the original error message, or experience the original behavior if the problem still exists. If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps.

After you upgrade your computer to Windows 10, if your HP Mouse / Keyboard Drivers are not working, you can fix the problem by updating the drivers. It is possible that your Mouse / Keyboard driver is not compatible with the newer version of Windows.
